Mo Omole
Board Member, Technical Advisor
Mo Omole is the President of Verdant Energy, preceded by 15 years of service at Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips. He has led teams and developed energy infrastructure projects exceeding $50mm across the United States in Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, the Northeast, and California.
With a Ph.D. in Chemical Biomolecular engineering and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Mo brings knowledge and expertise that extends across the energy value chain, with a focus on renewable gas projects, including biogas/renewable natural gas from anaerobic digestion, carbon mitigation, and hydrogen solutions.
A prolific innovator, Mo has acquired 6 patents and numerous trade secret contributions in energy and materials technology through collaborations with Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, and Chevron. He also serves as a nominated reviewer for the U.S Department of Energy’s ARPA-E GREENWELLS program, focusing on sustainable fuels and chemicals.
His scholarly contributions have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Membrane Science and the American Chemical Society’s journals Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research and Macromolecules. He has been a presenter at national and international industry conferences, and has served as a reviewer for industry journals, joint-industry projects, and programs.
